Who Are We?

The Chaparral MTB Team is a fun group of student athletes ranging from grades 6-12 who are attending Chaparral High School or middle schools from the surrounding area. We ride and race cross country mountain bikes on varied terrain with an emphasis on Fun, Skills, Competition and Safety. Our Coaching Staff are experienced riders and strong community leaders who believe in our core values of Teamwork, Sportsmanship and Respect. Our season runs from December – May and includes 5 races which begin in February (racing is optional). We practice 2-3 times/week for approximately 2 hours (weekends and daylight permitting). During the 2022 Season 82% of our riders raced. Our riders earned 9 Podium positions, 5 of those being First Place! In 2023 we look to continue our rapid rise through the pack with PUMA PRIDE!!

If you would like more information, would like to come join us for a “test drive” or would like to join our team, please contact our Team Director or fill out the Team Interest / Registration Form so we can contact you and answer any questions you may have!!
